To launch homewares offering.

Myer will partner exclusively with UK department store John Lewis to be the first Australian retailer to launch John Lewis homewares destinations in selected Myer stores and on Myer online.

The first John Lewis homewares destination will coincide with the opening of the new Myer Warringah store prior to Christmas 2016. A further five John Lewis homewares destinations will open in early 2017 in Melbourne City, Sydney City, Chadstone, Bondi, and Perth.

Myer chief merchandise and customer officer, and deputy CEO, Daniel Bracken, said, “We are excited to offer Myer customers the first exclusive opportunity in Australia to shop the John Lewis brand in a tailor made lifestyle concept, as well as shop the collection conveniently on the Myer website.”

John Lewis head of international development, Katie Jordan added, “We are delighted to be expanding our international physical presence and bringing John Lewis to a new country. There is a real synergy between Myer’s customer base and ours, and we believe they are the perfect partner for our first Australian shop-in-shops.”
