Steam, pyrolytic and sous-vide models.

Asko has launched a range of ovens in Australia that combine state-of-the-art technology, functionality and aesthetic appeal. Inspired by the Earth’s elements, the ovens feature a unique combination of black pearl glass with a background surface consisting of small stainless steel particles that shift colour to graphite grey or even brown depending on the surroundings.

Elements by Asko ovens boast an extra-large capacity of up to 75 litres and feature an interior cavity based on the structure of wood fire ovens, consisting of a vaulted ceiling and a flat backside to allow for even circulation of hot air. The cavity and oven trays are covered with high-quality enamel that absorbs and reflects heat to result in perfect cooking every time.

Asko managing director, Crt Prasnikar told Appliance Retailer, “We believe the Elements range is a piece of art that actually not only enhances the look of the kitchen but also introduces professional methods of cooking into everyday life. There were no compromises when developing this oven and that’s why we believe it is class leading.”

“The Elements range represents no compromise and no limits, based on countless hours of consumer insights. R&D conducted more than 1,000 focus groups so we have created a product with all the bells and whistles, but it is simple to use.

“We have the designed a steam tank – delivering 80 minutes of full steam and we use pure steam technology. In the range we have a 60cm combi-steam, 60cm pyro and also sous-vide vacuum drawer. In 45cm we have combi-steam, pyro and microwave oven,” he added.
