The Braun Series 3 shaver has beaten many of the largest small appliance and major appliance brands to win the Best Product Design in the Domestic Appliances category of the Good Design Awards held in Sydney on Friday.
Braun said the product is consistent with the values of the brand and stands out due to its functional design and high quality.
“The goal for this product was to realise ideal ergonomics and design longevity within the new Braun design language,” the company said.
“Two shaving foils and a new, optimised middle trimmer ensure thorough shaving of both short and long hair. The distinctive dot-textured surface and the functional thumb rest enable optimal grip for either wet or dry use. Procter & Gamble’s Braun Series 3 shaver beat two other Braun products to collect the award – the Silk Expert IPL and the Silk-épil 5 Wet & Dry as well as a number of other appliance brands and their products which were named as finalists including:
