Mark Coupe has been appointed general manager manufacturing for Seeley International’s South Australian (Lonsdale) and New South Wales (Albury) manufacturing operations.
Coupe joins Seeley after eight years as operations manager with the largest Australian automotive supplier of interiors systems, Futuris Automotive and has also held positions with Schefenacker Lighting Systems Australia and Tenneco Australia.
Seeley International founder and Executive Chairman, Mr Frank Seeley AM said Coupe’s extensive experience with a number of major manufacturers made him a well-credentialed choice for the senior role.
“He has been extensively involved in continuous improvement activities for much of his career, and his solid track record of developing people will assist in maintaining Seeley International’s steadfast commitment to remaining a market leader,” he said.
Coupe has been vice president of the Federation of Automotive Product Manufacturers, a Northern Economic Leaders Champion, and an active member of the Automotive Industry working group.
