Mother's Day is not only a great time to treat mum to a day of pampering, it's also a great time for electrical retailers who sell the gifts that Australians want to buy their mums. That makes it a big time of the year for appliance brands who compete for the consumer dollar with plenty of promotions. Here is our wrap-up of all the promotions (that we know of) that will be running in the lead up to Sunday, 12 May 2013.
Breville
The Deal: Breville has a number of offers across its range, including cashback on the All-In-One processing station and selected toasters and kettles. In coffee, consumers can claim a bonus Smart Grinder with the purchase of the BES900 Dual Boiler, an Aroma Coffee Grinder with the BES840 espresso machine and a Knock Box with the BES870 espresso machine, plus free barista courses that are available with selected machines.
In cooking, Breville is offering salt and pepper mills with the purchase of selected fry pans, Patak’s recipe bases with selected slow cookers, and a bonus electric frypan, cookbook and vacuum sealer with the Sous Vide Supreme.
The Dates: Each promotion has various starting and finishing dates.
Sunbeam
The Deal: Various bonuses available in-store or via redemption. In-store, consumers can pick up bonus appliances and accessories with the purchase of the LC7900 Food Processer, LC5000 MultiProcessor Compact, MX7900 Planetary Mixmaster and EM6200 Espresso Vita. Redemption offers are available on purchases of the EM7000 Cafe Series Espresso Machine, MX9200 Cafe Series Mixmaster and LC9000 Cafe Series Food Processor.
The Dates: Available for in-store purchases between 1 April and 30 June 2013.
Kenwood
The Deal: Kenwood is promoting the kMix range by offering a bonus pasta roller (valued at RRP $159) on the purchase of any kMix kitchen machine, as well as $30 cashback on kMix food processors, bench blenders, triblade hand blenders, hand mixers, choppers, kettles and toasters.
There are also ten cooking classes for consumers to win (valued at $1,500) for them and 9 friends.
The Dates: 1 March – 14 May 2013.

Philips
The Deal: Up to $80 cashback on female depilation products (models HP6581, HP6575, HP6370, HP6570); up to $150 cashback on selected irons and steam systems (models GC3560, GC4412, GC4856, GC4855, GC4875, GC6540, GC526, GC9240 and GC9540); and $30 cashback on selected home appliances including juicers and the new Jamie Oliver HomeCooker. Philips will also donate $5 from each home appliance sold (through the cashback special) to breast cancer research programs run by the Cancer Council.
The dates: All promotions have started and run until various dates (see promotions website).
Philips Saeco
The Deal: Philips Saeco is offering up to $250 cashback on selected espresso machines, plus the chance to win a trip to Italy worth $6,000.
The Dates: Available on purchases between 25 March and 2 June 2013.

Nespresso
The Deal: Nespresso is offering $60 cashback on machines from the U, Pixie, Citiz or Essenza ranges, and $80 cashback on Maestria and Lattissima machines.
The Dates: 25 March – 19 May 2013.
De’Longhi
The Deal: De’Longhi is offering $250 cashback on EABI6600, ESAM6900M and ESAM6700 espresso machines, $100 cashback on ECAM26455M and ESAM5600 espresso machines, and $50 cashback on ECAM23450S, ECAM23210B, ESAM03110S and ECAM22110SB espresso machines.
The Dates: 1 March – 14 May 2013.
Remington
The Deal: Remington is offering a trip for two to Los Angeles, including air fares, 7 nights’ accommodation at the Beverley Wilshire and $5,000 spending money. The offer is available on the purchase of any Remington product at participating retailers.

Panasonic
The Deal: Consumers who purchase one of four washing machines (models NA-148VG3WAU, NA-140VG3WAU, NA-148VX3WAU and NA-140VX3WAU) will receive two pairs of Ugg Boots valued at RRP $350 via redemption. Consumers that purchase a selected inverter microwave (models NN-SF550W, NN-ST641W, NN-ST651W, NN-ST683S, NN-ST671S and NN-SD691S) will receive a free Tupperware set valued at $65.
The Dates: Eligible washing machines must be purchased before 31 May 2013, while microwaves must be purchased by 12 May.

Uniden
The Deal: $20 cashback on selected XDECT Cordless Phones (XDECT8055+1, XDECT8055+2, XDECT8055+3WP, XDECT6135BTU+1, XDECT6135BTU+2, XDECT6145BTU+1H, XDECTR055+1 or XDECTR055+2).
The Dates: 1 April – 31 May 2013.
Vtech
The Deal: Vtech is offering a bonus Bluetooth headset (valued at RRP $39.95) with the purchase of selected cordless phones. Eligible models include the Telstra 12750, Telstra 12750 Twin, Telstra 12850 and Telstra 12950 Twin.
The Dates: 1 Aprl – 31 May 2013.

Jura
The Deal: Consumers who buy any Jura coffee machine will receive an accessories gift card valued up to $300, depending on the machine purchased, and a bag of Jura Secret Blend coffee beans. The promotion is available on the Giga 5 ($300 gift card); Impressa J9.3 TFT Chrome, IMPRESSA Z9 and Impressa Z7 Aluminium ($200 gift card); Impressa J9.2 Aus and Impressa J9.3 TFT Brilliant Silver ($100 gift card); and the ENA Micro 1, ENA Micro 9, IMPRESSA F7, Impressa C9 Piano Black and ENA 9 OT ($50 gift card).

Fujitsu General
The Deal: Fujitsu General is offering a $200 pre-paid Visa card with the purchase of every Fujitsu Inverter Split System Air Conditioner, and a $400 pre-paid Visa card with the purchase of every Fujitsu Inverter Multi Split System or Inverter Ducted Air Conditioning System.
The Dates: Models must be purchased between 1 March and 31 July 2013.
Sharp
The Deal: There is a bonus Scanpan knifeblock (valued at RRP $129) available with the purchase of the Sharp SuperSteam Oven (models R395YS, R395YBK, R480LW, R480LK, R890NS, R890NW, R990KS, R990KW, AX1100JR and AX1100JS). Sharp is also offering a 10-piece Pyrex storage set (valued at RRP $129) on selected microwave models (including R291ZST, R330YS, R330YW, R341ZW, R350YS, R350YW, R380LW and R380ZW models).
The Dates: Both promotions run 1 April – 19 May 2013.
Electrolux Small Appliances
The Deal: The very generous Swedes are offering gifts and cashbacks across their floorcare, ironing, mixing and coffee machines ranges. Consumers who purchase and UltraCaptic or Ultraperformer vacuums will receive two Sheridan queen size towels (RRP $99). Purchase any TurboPro stick mixer to receive four free mini casserole dishes (RRP $34.95). In cashback news, Electrolux is giving $30 back with any purchase of an UltraSteam iron and $50 back on purchases of Lavazza A Modo Milk and Premium models.
The Dates: All promotions end on 12 May 2013.
Pure Radio
The Deal: Consumers who purchase a selected Pure DAB+ digital radio from a metropolitan JB Hi-Fi store are eligible to receive an Endota Spa massage voucher worth $60. The offer is available on the One Mini S2 White, One Elite S2 Black, Move2500 Black or White, Contour 100Di or One Flow digital radios. Radios must be purchased at a JB Hi-Fi store in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.
The Dates: 22 April – 12 May 2013. Vouchers must be claimed by 31 May 2013.
Sebo
The Deal: Consumers who purchase the Sebo Felix Premium Upright Vacuum (9808AU) or the K3 Premium Barrel vacuum (9682AU) at participating retailers will receive a bonus pack of filter bags and a card of air fresheners, valued at $50.
The Dates: 1 May – 31 May 2013.
Russell Hobbs
The Deal: Russell Hobbs is offering one lucky consumer a trip for two to London, including return airfares, high tea and 7 nights' accommodation at The Ritz, and $5,000 spending money. The offer is available to customers who purchase an eligible Russell Hobbs product and enter their details via mail or SMS.

Bosch
The Deal: Consumers who purchase a new MUM54530AU or MUM54630AU Bosch Kitchen Machine from David Jones will be eligible for a $50 David Jones gift card, while those who purchase one of the eligible machines from Harvey Norman will receive a $50 Simon Johnson voucher.
