SYDNEY: O2 has announced the promotion of two management staff in an attempt to bolster its Asia Pacific management team and push its expansion into new territories.

Guillaume Debrosse, former chief financial officer, has been promoted to chief operating officer and will be responsible for O2 Asia Pacific’s entire regional operations, from project management to supply chain management and after-sales support services.

Debrosse’s key focus will be to ensure prompt time-to-market for O2’s converged mobile devices and excellent service experience for O2’s customers.

Sean Wilkins will succeed Debrosse as chief financial officer for O2 Asia Pacific. In his new role, Wilkins will oversee all O2’s financial and legal operations in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East markets.

Wilkins was previously the Head of finance and business development for wholesale at O2 UK.

The new appointments will now attempt to strengthen O2’s commitments to new territories including, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
