MELBOURNE: Victorian retailers will be seeing a new Samsung Electronics state manager. The newly-appointed Jason Woods brings with him 20 years of sales experience from a diverse consumer electronics background.
According to a news release from Samsung today, Woods joined Samsung in July and will be responsible for the development and success of the Samsung Victoria sales and administration teams. He replaces Adrian Barker who moved to Sydney in July as the new NSW State Manager.
Woods has managed a number of successful sales teams over the past nine years, most recently working for companies suchas Fujifilm and LG as Branch Manager.
“Jason brings with him a wealth of experience that will enable him to build on the success Adrian achieved before him,” said the recently promoted director of Retail Sales and Marketing, Michael Richardson. “We welcome him to the team and look forward to the future expansion of the business in Victoria.”
