Toshiba has released four new flat panel LCD televisions in their new REGZA AV500 series. The televisions range in size from 26-inch to 42-inch and can broadcast in true high definition through the use of a 1080p HDMI input.
Speaking about the new models is Toshiba Australia AV product manager, Sanjay Bhartiya. “Our new AV500 LCD panels [are] perfect for watching High Definition TV and movies,” said Bhartiya.
Inputs in the AV500 series include two HDMI, two composite connections, component video, S-video and PC input to enable the TVs to be used as computer screens.
The first two digits of each TV model refer to the size in inches of the panels. Models include the 26AV500 ($999), 32AV500 ($1,299), 37AV500 ($1,649) and the 42AV500 ($1,899). All are currently available.
