The D-Link 4G LTE VoIP Router DWR-922 now comes with a Globalgig 4G SIM card with $30 credit inside the box, giving users access the vast Globalgig mobile broadband network which spans 84 countries worldwide.
D-Link MD Graeme Reardon explains how it works:
You just insert the Globalgig 4G SIM card that comes in the box into the DWR-922, register it with Globalgig, select a plan and then you’re good to go – it’s that simple. Once connected to a Globalgig plan, you can immediately use the DWR-922 to check emails, surf the web, transfer data, stream media, make VoIP calls and send SMS messages. Globalgig 4G mobile broadband plans are excellent value, available month-to-month and there are no lock-in contracts, so our partnership means it couldn’t be simpler to get a 4G LTE VoIP Router and mobile broadband that is low cost, effective and efficient.
The plug and play nature of the DWR-922 router with Globalgig makes it ideal for nomads, renters or students in temporary or shared accommodation.
The router’s phone port also allows a handset to be attached enabling VoIP calls and D-Link is promising downlink speeds of up to 100 Mbps and uplink speeds up to 50 Mbps.
Globabgig’s 4G SIM card provides 4G broadband access in Australia and UK, and access to 3G networks in rest of the globe.
The partnership with D-Link comes after last month Globalgig launched three new 4G mobile broadband plans ranging in price from $4.99 per month to $30 per month.
The D-Link 4G LTE VoIP Router with a 4G SIM card is available now online at www.dlink.com.au, selected stockists or in any Officeworks store for $249.
Globalgig 4G mobile broadband SIMs are available online and at 1,400 retail outlets across Australia including Dick Smith, Harvey Norman, Coles, The Good Guys, Big W, Nuance Airport Duty Free Stores and Joyce Maine.
