Allan Todd (pictured) started working at the Todd’s Hi-Fi business when he was 20 years old and has been with the retailer for 40 years, now celebrating his 60th birthday. To reflect these milestones, Todd’s Hi-Fi has discounts of 20%, 40% and 60% off the RRP for his birthday sale.
Speaking to Appliance Retailer, store owner, Allan Todd said, “As a smaller player we endeavour to personalise our marketing and focus on potential local clients.
“The birthday sale has increased our normal daily website activity by three times and increased time spent on the site. Sales have also doubled compared to previous weeks, giving a solid finish to the month,” he said.
“They say activity brings results and this is true in my experience. It has been an enjoyable journey and I remain today as passionate as my first day 40 years ago.”
Products with a 20% discount include Yamaha MusicCast powered speakers and a Pro-ject Turntable. A Panasonic 4K TV and Bowers & Wilkins Panorama speaker are selling for 40% off RRP. Other high end speakers, subwoofers and home theatre packs are selling for 60% of the RRP.
