RIVERWOOD, NSW: De’Longhi has added two prestigious international design awards from iF and Red Dot to its portfolio of accolades, for its Esclusivo range of small appliances which includes the fully-automatic ESAM6600 espresso machine.
The iF product design award for 2007 is one of the world’s leading design award-ceremonies and boasts a proud, 50-year history. It is held at the Hannover Exhibition Centre in Germany and includes more than 2,000 entries from 37 countries. De’Longhi’s KF8170H blender (RRP $179), KBH2404 kettle (RRP $149), CTH4003 toaster (RRP $149) and CTH2003 toaster (RRP $129) all won iF design awards.
“The best of the entries receives an iF seal of outstanding design quality – a worldwide brand with high recognition value, guaranteeing its owner a place on the cutting edge of contemporary design,” said De’Longhi.
The Red Dot Design Award ranks among the largest and most renowned design competitions in the world. Each year an international jury reviews and evaluates the submitted products according to criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality and the formal quality. De’Longhi’s entire Esclusivo range won the Red Dot award.
Each panel of judges includes renowned designers and design experts from around the globe.
