Fisher & Paykel has added another cooking school to its alliance program, this time partnering with a dedicated barbecue specialist to demonstrate and sell the DCS Outdoor Grills it unveiled last year.

The Bar-Be School in Willoughby, in Sydney northern suburbs, will be fitted out with both built-in and freestanding 48-inch grills with side burners, one 48-inch All Grill and one 36-inch All Grill. DCS stands for Dynamic Cooking Systems, a American grilling specialist purchased by Fisher & Paykel in 2004.

“We are delighted to welcome Bar-Be School into our cooking school alliance program,” said F&P general manager, marketing, Peter Russell. “Bar-Be School is an outstanding business run by an extremely passionate team, and the operation as a whole is the perfect representation of Fisher & Paykel, particularly of our new premium outdoor cooking offering.”

“Guests can marvel at, test drive and buy our DCS Grills right on site at Bar-Be School. This is the ideal way to reach consumers as our uber-powerful grills are best appreciated through first-hand contact.”

In addition to its Willoughby homebase, the Bar-Be School also conducts demonstrations at hired venues and public bars. Ben Farley from the school explained their philosophy.

“Our classes are about showing guests how to cook easily on the barbecue, which is something many people don’t fully understand. We aim to teach guests how to entertain confidently through strategic tips and tricks, so they can enjoy the company of friends and family while creating delicious dishes on the barbecue.”
