For Smeg and Speed Queen.

At the recent Sydney Home Show, in conjunction with Harvey Norman @ Domayne Alexandria, Smeg showcased Italian artistry with its major appliance collections: Portofino – inspired by the colours and flavours of the Italian Riviera; Victoria – modern vintage style with technological innovation; Classic – timeless, elegant design for over 30 years; FAB – the bold icon of style; and the recently launched Linea – where design begins with the line.

Linea collection – the architecturally designed collection of ovens, compacts, coffee machines, wine cellars and cooktops offer powerful performance and innovative, world-first technology including Smeg’s patented blade flame cooktop, and is available in three shades – black, white and silver.

Smeg also displayed its collection of award-winning retro style small appliances including its collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana.

As testament to the high visitation and overwhelmingly positive feedback, Harvey Norman’s home show stand, including the Smeg display, was awarded Best Large Stand by an independent panel of industry experts.

Smeg retail national sales manager, Wayne Campbell said, “Participating in the show was a great opportunity to display Smeg’s latest major and small appliances as well as unveil the Linea collection to a large audience of highly engaged renovators and home enthusiasts.”

Speed Queen also had a display at the Home Show and national retail sales manager, Craige Cole (pictured) confirmed the brand’s washing machines will undergo a design refresh due to be released by August this year. “It will be the first facelift for Speed Queen washers in about 30 years,” he said.

“One of the biggest trends for the laundry category is larger capacities to reduce the number of loads for consumers,” he added. “Not only do our machines have the volumetric capacity to perform big loads, they also have the horse power to do them. Our washing machines are tested to the lifespan of 28 years with a one load per day average.”

Speed Queen has exhibited at the Sydney Home Show for the past five years.
