Swann Security has released its CES award-winning product, the MaxRanger4K. A first-of-its-kind security system, it offers the longest and strongest signal range compared to regular wireless security cameras.
It uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and 900MHz long range wireless technology that connects to 2,000 feet in the open air.
The cameras are pre-paired with the hub for set-up in minutes and include built-in solar panels, so no recharging is necessary. It features two-way audio and True Detect+ senses heat, motion, people and cars to trigger mobile alerts, video recording, spotlights and sirens, all controllable in the Swann Security app.
Cameras incorporate Sony STARVIS sensors for enhanced 4K colour video, day and night, designed for use all year in any weather conditions. It can be placed in hard-to-reach positions such perimeter fences on large homes, farms, car parks, warehouses and businesses.
The hub has 64GB local memory and cloud backup for free recording when needed. The battery delivers up to five hours of back-up power to the hub in the event of a power outage on site. The MaxRanger4K is available with two, three or four cameras and the hub, as well as extra cameras to monitor up to eight cameras on the same hub.
“This is the security system of the future and Swann is proud to be the first to offer these capabilities to our customers,” Swann Security CEO, Alex Talevski said.
The MaxRanger4K took out the ‘Best of CES’ from TWICE, TechRadar Pro, Residential Systems and Gear Brain Editor’s Choice 2024 awards.
It is available at JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings Warehouse, Harvey Norman, Amazon and Swann.com. The RRPs are $949.95 and $1,699.95 for the two camera and four camera kits respectively, and extra camera $399.95.
