SYDNEY, NSW: Ilve has today announced the launch of a built-in oven with pyrolytic cleaning. The Ilve 60cm Pyrolytic oven features a dedicated cleaning cycle that burns away cooking remains and reduces them to ash.
During the pyrolytic cleaning cycle, the oven door seals and the interior cooking space reaches temperatures of up to 465° Celsius. The high heat incinerates anything that might have splattered onto the oven interior, and after 90 to 180 minutes, the cooled ash can be simply wiped out.

The 70-litre oven also features a fast preheat (0 to 175° Celsius in 6 minutes), 10 multifunctional cooking modes, a concealed element and a double speed cooling fan. The door and inner door glass are removable, and it comes with a European A Class energy rating.
In terms of safety, the oven features an automatically locking door that stays sealed until the pyrolytic cleaning is complete, as well as a quadruple-glazed glass door that ensures cooler external temperatures.
