In a bid to promote its new Izona cooking appliance range, Fisher & Paykel will be installing its Izona kitchen appliances in a leading Sydney cooking school. It will mean new chefs will be trained on Fisher & Paykel appliances.

The strategic alliance which was announced today, means that the three kitchens at the Sydney Seafood School will showcase the award winning Izona CoolDrawers, CookSurfaces and VentSurfaces, plus the new OB76 ‘Paris’ and OB60 Designer Pyrolytic ovens, induction and several Designer range refrigerators.

“Fisher & Paykel are delighted to announce this alliance. There is great synergy between the two companies, with both dedicated to inspiring consumers to cook, entertain and enjoy quality food,” said Peter Russel, national marketing manager, Fisher & Paykel.

“This is a deliberate strategy by Fisher & Paykel to align itself with top cooking schools, caterers, chefs and foodies to support its premium cooking offering.”

Roberta Muir, Sydney Seafood School manager, was also very enthusiastic about the partnership.

“After 20 years teaching Sydbey-siders and international visitors to cook and enjoy Australian seafood it was time to modernise our kitchens and bring the school into the 21st century,” she said.

“We were looking for an innovative and forward thinking kitchen appliance designer whose appliances will inspire our students to love cooking seafood.”

Muir also emphasised that Fisher & Paykel was a clear winner over its competitors.

“Izona forges new design frontiers and was a clear winner in the selection process ahead of a number of European brands as the range represents an entire new way of thinking about kitchen design and functionality,” she said.

Peter Russel commented how the new deal will really help to promote the brand.

“We are very excited to be involved in the new look Sydney Seafood Scholl and we intend to use the alliance to showcase our premium award-winning appliances to our customers, retailers and a whole new audience of cooking enthusiasts,” he said.
