It's a question UnderCurrent often wonders – what became of the HTC Flyer? This time last year, HTC unveiled the 7-inch tablet, and the expectation was that Australia would be one of the first markets to receive it. Alas, as HTC's reputation for excellent smartphones has grown, it has barely rated a mention on the tablet scale, and the Flyer is still grounded like a Qantas plane during industrial action.
Well, UnderCurrent put the question to HTC Australia, and we received this intriguing response:
"We cannot comment on HTC products that are unavailable in the Australian market, unfortunately, but you should be hearing from us soon!"
Hmmm….
