SYDNEY, NSW: According to Asko, having a bigger load means less water wastage and as such the new machine features a 5-star energy rating and a 4.5-star WELS rating.

Other innovative features include ActiveDrum technology that keeps clothes in the centre of the drum, which has smaller cylinder holes. The combination of these two factors work towards a gentler wash, said the supplier.

Four shock absorbers aim to eliminate vibration and noise while the removal of rubber bellows on the washers makes loading and unloading easier and cleaner.

James Vogdanos, Asko national marketing manager said that innovation was integral to Asko’s products.

“Asko strives to bring the most innovative products to market and this release is just one example of that. We are proud to launch a range of washing machines that cares about your clothes as much as you do. We believe this range will be embraced in the Australian market.”

There are three models in the ActiveDrum range: the W6444 is RRP $1,499, the W6564 is RRP $1,699 and the W6884ECO is RRP $1,899.
