Smeg has released a range of black cooking appliances designed for consumers to add a bold look and moody hues to their kitchen.

Nero by Smeg is available across built-in appliances in Classic, Linea and Dolce Stil Novo, as well as freestanding options in Classic, Victoria and Portofino collections.

Smeg managing director, Jim Kalotheos said, “We are always looking for ways to meet consumer needs and reflect the latest design trends. Our collection of major black appliances provides Australians with stylish and on-trend solutions whether they are updating their appliances or undertaking a total kitchen renovation.”

Smeg has a 70-plus year cooking heritage offering high performance engineering, easy to use functionality and guaranteed results. The new appliances showcase a sophisticated look that integrates Smeg’s signature Italian flair.

Smeg also recently expanded its Portofino collection with the addition of a 120cm freestanding cooker, 120cm rangehood and all-new refrigerator, to complement the existing 90cm cooker and rangehood released in 2018.

The Smeg FAB fridge collection also welcomed a new addition – the FAB38 – available in six colours with a 510-litre capacity, multi-flow cooling system, digital control panel and three functions.
