Inspired by the opulence of the Italian Riviera, the Smeg Portofino collection will welcome three new additions, including a 120cm freestanding cooker, 120cm rangehood and all-new refrigerator, to complement the existing 90cm cooker and rangehood released in 2018.
The new 120cm freestanding cooker includes five different cooking functionalities in a single appliance with two 60cm ovens and cooktop with both gas and induction zones as well as an electric Teppanyaki plate.
New technological features include the induction bridging function to operate two zones with one control and keep warm function to safely keep food at 70 degrees Celsius.
The left 60cm Thermoseal pyrolytic oven maintaines the perfect atmosphere for optimum cooking conditions, to produce crisp pastry, succulent roasts and exceptional baking with ten cooking functions including supercook, fan grill, bakers function and convection. Featuring world-class technology, the right 60cm multifunction oven features nine cooking functions including direct steam, to reduce food shrinkage and deliver unparalleled cooking results.
An extension of the 90cm Portofino rangehood, the new 120cm model delivers powerful air extraction to suit all cooking styles, while matching the freestanding cooker in controls, colour and size.
Four speeds are engineered for peak performance and quiet operation, guaranteeing maximum efficiency. Four LED lights provide premium illumination and the dishwasher safe, stainless steel anti-grease filters ensure easy cleaning.
The all-new Portofino fridge is designed with Smeg’s signature made in Italy style. Featuring a large 510 litre capacity perfect for families, the fridge is fully clad in colour to complement the freestanding cooker or make a bold statement on its own.
New inverter technology ensures high energy efficiency and two separate cooling systems maintain accurate temperatures in each compartment. The 0 degree Celsius chiller drawer is designed for optimum preservation of fresh food and perishables, while the multi-flow cooling system removes bacteria and odour.
The 120cm Portofino freestanding cooker ($13,990), rangehood ($3,490) and fridge ($4,490) is now available nationally from selected retailers and appliance specialists.
