Motorola is celebrating 10 years of the moto g family with the launch of the new moto g84 G5 in Australia featuring a 6.5-inch ultrawide display with Full HD+ resolution.
For the first time, Motorola is launching a moto g device in the 2023 Pantone Colour of the Year, Viva Magenta, complemented by a vegan leather finish.The moto g84 5G will also be available in a classic PMMA Midnight Blue design at select retailers and in vegan leather Marshmallow Blue exclusively at JB Hi-Fi.

Ultra-thin and light, the moto g84 5G incorporates a IP54 water-resistant rating, bold metal camera housing showcasing the device’s camera system and, on the front, a borderless display provides maximum room.
A 6.5-inch ultrawide, infinite contrast pOLED display illuminates every pixel individually, producing deeper blacks and more vivid colours. This is complemented by DCI-P3 and 10-bit colour depth offering over a billion shades of colour with 1,300 nits of brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform delivers speeds up to 2.2GHz with a 6nm process node for smooth gaming, high-end photography and near lag-free streaming.
The multi-dimensional sound of Dolby Atmos promises crystal clear audio, further enhanced with Spatial Sound by Motorola, producing high-quality output and enhanced spatial sense.
Users can expect ultra-sharp images on a 50MP camera system equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Ultra Pixel technology lets in more light by combining pixels into a large 2.0µm pixel for brighter photos. The 8MP ultra-wide lens with Macro Vision and 16MP selfie camera completes the camera system.
