Miele is expanding its Discovery range of induction cooktops and ovens, incorporating three new induction cooktop models, as well as two new oven models.

The Discovery oven series feature an intuitive EasyControl Plus interface with a longer digital screen and multifunctional knobs, while allowing users to connect and control the oven via the Miele app.

The new oven range also delivers Miele’s innovative programming, which automatically adjusts temperatures and cooking times based on what is cooking, as well as the new FanPlus function, which doubles as an air fryer. The Discovery oven series offers a choice of four colours, including graphite grey, obsidian black, brilliant white and a classic stainless steel.

The Discovery induction cooktops offer various automated functions such as the Recall function ensuring settings are saved for 10 seconds, Stop&Go function that reduces all cooking zones at the touch of a button, and Minute Minder to help time any activity in the kitchen, as well as Con@ctivity, which allows the cooktop to communicate and function automatically with Miele rangehoods.

With Miele’s intelligent pan recognition function, control elements are adjusted based on pan placement. This, in combination with Miele’s PowerFlex function, allows users to use various sized pots and pans, without being limited to a specific area of the cooktop.

The flush fit installation of both the oven and induction units means that whether paired together or not, they can integrate seamlessly into any kitchen aesthetic and design.

All new Discovery models can be networked with Miele’s smart home feature via a home Wi-Fi router and the Miele cloud, and controlled with the Miele app, voice control or through integration into existing smart home solutions.

Incorporating green aluminium in the production process of the Discovery range allows customers to choose appliances with a reduced environmental impact.
