SINGAPORE: Fisher & Paykel has appointed Miles Webster as its new country manager – Singapore effective 12 May 2008.
Webster, who has been with Fisher & Paykel Appliances since 2005, is currently Refrigeration and Laundry product manager in the Global Marketing Team located in the Auckland office.
Webster replaces Richard St John who will relocate to Thailand to the role of general manager – Sales and Marketing Asia region.
In a statement released today, Fisher & Paykel said that in his new role, Webster will focus on leading the Singapore operation across sales, key account management, customer care, service, logistics and administration.
“Our major competitors have a strong presence throughout Asia,” said Webster. “Our ongoing presence in the key market of Singapore together with our new manufacturing plant in Thailand clearly positions Fisher & Paykel as a leading brand in the competitive Asian marketplace.”
