JB Hi-Fi has posted an online message from the NOW music team stating that the streaming service will close down on March 17, 2016.

The message reads, “You will be able to stream music as normal until March 17 as long as you have a valid subscription. However JB Hi Fi NOW will no longer be taking any direct payments, new subscriptions or renewals from February 17, 2016.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support of the JB Hi Fi NOW streaming service. We remain passionate about music and will continue to offer Australia’s largest range of CDs and Vinyl through our 180 stores nationally and via our online site.”

Customers will be entitled to a refund for any paid days beyond March 17 and can expect details of how to obtain the refund within the next 14 days.

JB Hi-Fi gift cards with balance remaining may be used as store credit or customers can receive a refund via their local JB Hi Fi store or online site.
