Designed for students and graduates.

Dyson is calling on Australian engineer and design students and graduates to enter the James Dyson Award competition with a design that solves a problem. The Award, now in its 15th year, offers international exposure and $53,000 prize money to develop their idea.

James Dyson said, “Young engineers and designers have perspective and unbridled intelligence that makes them adept at problem solving. Their ideas can easily be dismissed, but if nurtured and celebrated they are transformative. The James Dyson Award champions our next generation of inventors and will propel them towards future success.”

Joining the judging panel for the Australian entries is Code Like a Girl CEO and co-founder, Ally Watson, Australian Centre for Robotic Vision COO, Dr Sue Keay and EFTM editor and technology commentator, Trevor Long.
