The Social Kitchen is located at the Queen Victoria Markets, which hosts a vibrant street food fare every Wednesday night during spring and summer.Inside the Kitchen, Fisher & Paykel showcases its built-in cooking appliances, induction cooktops, coffee machines and, for user convenience, mobile phone charging.At the session Appliance Retailer attended, F&P’s signature CoolDrawers were a constant source of oohs and ahhhs. Paella is always a great dish to teach at a Cooking School.While Australia has traditionally been a gas market, F&P wants to educate home chefs about the advantages of induction, which is the only hob technology employed at the Social Kitchen.Post-cooking, classmembers can enjoy their creation with a glass of wine and some new friends.This was Appliance Retailer’s work station when preparing ribs and rice in the Americana class.
