ASKO has presented its wine climate cabinets featuring optimum light conditions, UV light protection and humidity monitoring.

As fully connected appliances, wine collections can be managed easily and inventory information accessed quickly and accurately thanks to an integrated camera and compatibility with the Connect Life app and Vivino database.

The camera can identify individual bottles using the Vivino database that includes 12 million wines. After being scanned and identified, the wine can be added to the inventory, along with information regarding tasting, storage, readiness to drink and more.

The Connect Life app makes all the functionalities of the wine climate cabinet available via smartphone such as changing selected settings or searching through inventory. The app can also be used to scan wines and add them to the inventory.

The range includes the freestanding ASKO Wine Climate Cabinet that can hold up to 190 bottles. It incorporates three distinct temperature zones for different types of wine, each of which can be individually controlled.

Advanced features include pure charcoal-filtered air, humidity monitoring and optimum lighting conditions. The glass door protects the contents from UV light, while the high-quality compressor ensures consistent temperatures in each compartment and no vibrations.

The ASKO Wine Aging Cabinet acts either as a companion to the Wine Climate Cabinet or as a standalone piece. Up to 261 bottles of wine can be kept in perfect conditions for long-term storage, protecting them and allowing flavours and complexities develop.

The ASKO compact undercounter models are designed with one or two zones. They integrate with any space and feature a handle-free door with a ‘push to open’ function. The one zone Undercounter Wine Climate Cabinet can hold up to 44 bottles, while the two zone up to 38 bottles.
