SYDNEY, NSW: Seasonal appliance manufacturer Seeley International has announced it will be appointing Jon Seeley to the role of executive director – Climate Wizard for the company.
Jon Seeley is the son of founders Frank Seeley AM and Kathy Seeley, and has been working as a non-executive director on the Seeley International board for the past year.
Speaking about the appointment, Frank Seeley said it was a positive step forward for the South Australian gas heating and air conditioning system manufacturer.
“Bringing Jon into the business full-time, as well as retaining him as a Director, will bring additional senior focus and commercial experience to the ground-breaking Climate Wizard product,” said Frank Seeley.

“Climate Wizard is an indirect evaporative air conditioner that can save up to 80% of running costs on refrigerated systems and represents a completely new cooling category that is set to transform the way the world looks at air conditioning.
“Like any breakthrough technology, it takes some time for the market to understand and adopt new products – particularly when the results are as incredible as Climate Wizard’s.
“Having Jon take the lead in bringing Climate Wizard to market will give us the extra firepower we need to make sure that Climate Wizard takes the world by storm, faster – which is a key part of our strategy to grow the business to a $1b company in the next few years.”
Jon Seeley brings over 25 years of experience in senior financial, management and professional roles to the new position, including 10 years working overseas. Most recently, he has held the title of CEO of Alpha Australia, a not-for-profit educational and welfare organisation.
His new new role will be based in Seeley International’s new premises in Scoresby, Melbourne, and will bring Jon further into the family business – a move that he is “very excited” about.

“Being on the Board for the past year has given me an even greater appreciation for the great work that is being done and the tremendous potential that we have to take Australian innovation to the world.
