The new Jura Operating Experience (J.O.E.) 2.0 app is now available with features including the ability to prepare coffee using voice commands with Siri (iOS 12 and above) or on an Apple Watch.
This was first demonstrated by Jura Australia managing director, George Liakatos at the exclusive launch event for the GIGA 6 fully automatic coffee machine. Liakatos said since the successful launch of the J.O.E. app in 2018, there has been requests for Siri compatibility.
“You asked for it, so here it is,” he said. “We have also seen an increasing number of Apple Watch users, driving the need for Apple Watch connectivity. We are proud to release such innovative technology, well ahead of the curve.”
Using the new J.O.E. app, consumers connect their coffee machine via Bluetooth and Smart Connect. The app lets users program an unlimited amount of favourite specialty coffees, name and assign an image to each coffee, order and save coffee preferences, access status reports and prompts and link to the official Jura online store to order accessories such as a new filter. It also provides pictures and text to guide users through the maintenance program, as well as short instructional videos with operating tips.
