Whirpool Australia has announced a new managing director: Sanjay Prasad. A 10-year veteran of Whirlpool, Prasad was formerly the general manager of sales.
Prasad replaces Jerome Cadier, who is returning to Brazil.
“As I leave the Australian Whirlpool business I’m proud of what we’ve achieved during my time; I am confident that I am leaving it in very capable hands,” Cadier said in a statement.

This appointment has caused a domino effect at Whirlpool, resulting in the following appointments:
Stephen Hunter is the new general manager of sales (from national account manager)
Claire Blundell is the new general manager of marketing (from national account manager)
Matthew Manterfield is the new group manager of commercial and new business (expanded from national commercial manager)
