SYDNEY: Canon has announced the appointment of former Canon consumer imaging products group account manager, Chris Macleod, to digital SLR (DLSR) product manager for the brand’s consumer division.
Macleod will be responsible for managing marketing and product strategies for the full range of EOS digital SLR cameras.
“The position requires a strategic approach, a deep understanding of the photo imaging industry and a real passion for photography” said Canon Australia marketing manager – consumer imaging products group, Stuart Poignand.
“The recent release of the Canon EOS-1D Mk III and the 20th anniversary of EOS, showcases the exciting developments in this category. We are excited by Chris’ experience and his passion for photography, which will enable him to build on the momentum Canon has achieved in the market.” Poignand said.
