Eufy Clean, part of Anker Innovations, launched the world’s first cordless stick vacuum with steam mop, the Mach V1 Ultra, at a media event held in a $20 million Sydney property.
Initially exclusive to Harvey Norman, this new suite of products will be supported by a strong social media campaign and a consumer promotion designed to catch people’s attention, Anker Innovations general manager, Gaspar Xie told Appliance Retailer.
“Australia is the first country to launch the Mach vacuum, so we were keen to get the first batch of products here, with launches in the US and Europe following soon,” he said.
More SKUs will be added to the Mach lineup, including an entry-level model later this year together with the release of a robotic model, Xie said.
The Mach V2 sets a precedent as the world’s first cordless vacuum with steam mopping that effectively and effortlessly vacuums, mops, self- cleans, sterilises and dries all floor types including timber, tile and marble and low-pile carpet, all with one product without the need for multiple appliances.
Steam is continuously released at 110 degrees, sterilising and removing dirt and bacteria using Eco-Clean Ozone sterilisation technology and in a first for the industry, carries TUV Rheinland certification for 99.99% germ removal. Its streamlined blade and motor design delivers 16,800Pa of powerful suction with just 65dB of noise.
This all-in-one stick vacuum features a triple self-cleaning system that with one click automatically washes and dries the roller brush for odour-free storage, ready for cleaning, preventing any recontamination while JetBlade Anti-Slip dries the floor as it mops.
There are three suction modes, a full colour LCD display with voice prompts for easy monitoring, a trigger button when more powerful suction is needed and up to 82 minutes runtime.
