Six Epson printer and projector models have picked up iF Design Awards.

The winning collection includes the SL-D560, series of compact photo production printers that provides installation flexibility in shops where space is limited; the SureColor T7760 and SureColor T8560 series of large-format printers designed for CAD, photo, and POP applications and the TM-P20II and TM-P80II mobile receipt printers for retail, hospitality, package delivery, and meter-reading applications.

Also, the TM-L100 compact label printer for order management and food labelling in restaurants while the TM-m30III POS receipt printer can be operated from a smartphone or tablet device.

Finally, the still to be launched locally, EH-LS800B home projector (pictured) that can throw an 80-inch image when installed just 2.5cm away from a wall. Projected images can be automatically corrected with a smartphone app and camera, enabling simple and flexible setup with a thick top panel that gives a furniture-like appearance.

The 2023 awards criteria range from consideration of practicality and workmanship to innovation, sustainability, functionality, usability, safety, aesthetics and universal design, with around 11,000 entries from 56 countries and regions.
