SYDNEY: GfK will hold its 2007 conference on 29 June exploring the “A to Zee of digital entertainment” with a focus on 3G, full HD, mp3 and DVD technologies to give suppliers and retailers an insight into the future of these rapidly evolving markets.
According to GfK, the conference will be attended by around 250 representatives from the CE industry’s major suppliers, distributors and retailers across categories including audiovisual and digital imaging.
The focussed half-day format is designed to give attendees better knowledge of digital hardware and software market dynamics covering the winners and loser and implications for retailers; an understanding of consumers’ changing usage patterns and purchasing behaviour; and insights into industry leaders’ expectations for the future.
“The conference provides a key opportunity for you to learn more about current trends and likely developments in the nature and scope of the world of digital entertainment,” said GfK commercial director, Gwenno Hopkin.
“The combination of hard facts from retail and consumer research, and expert opinion from industry leaders, will provide insights that matter, and opinions that will provoke you.”
The 2007 GfK Conference will be held on Friday 29 June, 9am – 1pm, at the Dockside Conference Centre, Cockle Bay Wharf, Sydney.
The formal presentations will be followed by a networking lunch.
