SYDNEY: The Fujistu-sponsored Ford V8 Supercar has been given a facelift ahead of this year’s Championship Series kicking off this month, with the red and blue design replaced with a blue, white and fluorescent orange paint scheme.
Team driver and Britek Motorsport managing director, Jason Bright, will be previewing the Fujitsu V8 Supercar’s new look over the next three weeks ahead of the opening race in Adelaide on Thursday 21 February.
“Fujitsu General is delighted to be onboard once again with Jason Bright and Britek Motorsport,” said Fujitsu general manager sales & marketing, Philip Perham.
“Fujitsu’s involvement with Britek and the V8 Supercar Series is the ideal platform for us to keep the Fujitsu brand name front of mind with one of our key audiences and as a result drive customers into retail outlets.”
The Britek Motorsport team has set the goal of running in the top 10 consistently throughout the year.
“With a fresh new livery design for the car and team and with the experiences gained over the past few seasons, we are looking forward to 2008 being an even bigger and better year on the track,” said Jason Bright.
“The Fujitsu General colour scheme has changed considerably since last year and we believe it will be outstanding on the track. One of the main modifications has been the removal of the car number from the doors and their reposition in the rear windows. This has allowed us to maximise use of the doors as well as the front and rear panels.”
