Harvey Norman executive director, David Ackery has advised the board that he will resign after 18 years in the role and 30 years with the business, effective 30 April 2024.
David Ackery told Appliance Retailer that he was leaving the business with fondness after three decades with the business. “I have nothing but good things to say about the last 30 years at Harvey Noman – it has been just fantastic.”
Harvey Norman chairman, Gerry Harvey said, “On behalf of the board and the company, I thank David for the valuable contribution he has made to Harvey Norman.”
No replacement for Ackery’s role has currently been confirmed.
