SYDNEY: Two Federal Government Ministers – Tony Abbott and Jackie Kelly will officially open the new 1,500 square metre Little & Rabie Retravision Superstore in Penrith on Friday, which will commemorate the retail store’s 33 year anniversary in the local area.
Two stores trading as Little & Rabie – the 450 square metre St Marys store and the current 550 square metre Penrith store have been closed with staff and stock moved to new premises.
A statement released this afternoon by Retravision New South Wales said the two Ministers will open the store which is located inside the new ABCOE Centre which will provide local residents in the area with a more comfortable shopping experience, increased range of retail offerings, competitive prices and many employment opportunities.
“The new Little & Rabie Retravision in the ABCOE Centre features an extensive cooking and kitchen display and more room to touch and feel the products. There is a larger range of products with further focus on LCD and plasma screens, information technology, air conditioners and whitegoods,” the statement said.
“Our new store more than doubles the amount of floor space we had in our old location, providing greater choice and convenience for local customers,” said Little & Rabie Retravision owner, George Rabie.
“We can now offer more items on display, which provides more room to touch and feel the products.
“Local residents can look forward to a more comfortable shopping experience, while taking advantage of the increased range of products, competitive prices and great customer service that they have come to expect,” Rabie said.
On opening day there will be a variety of activities for local residents to enjoy including performances by York Public School accompanied by Aboriginal Didgeridoo Player from Muru Mittigar and three fighter jets will close the ceremony.
The ABCOE Centre will also house a huge range of shopping offerings including Saddle World, Seconds World Penrith, Solomans Carpets and Vilma’s Lighting.
