Creative technology company, Cricut has introduced a new National School Competition in partnership with Harvey Norman.

The #cricutyourschoolau competition invites members of the community to nominate a school that could benefit from Cricut creativity and visual displays of positivity with a Cricut prize pack and workshop, valued at $5,000.

The prize pack includes Cricut smart cutting machines, Cricut EasyPress 2 heat presses, range of Cricut materials, tools and accessories, Cricut Design Space subscription and workshop with Cricut expert.

#cricutyourschoolau launched on Friday 18th March to coincide with National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA). The theme for 2022 is Kindness Culture.

“We are constantly impressed by the clever and educational teaching resources Australian teachers make with our cutting machines, to make school fun, positive and more engaging for all,” Cricut Australia and New Zealand regional director, Nicola Dow-Smith said.

“This competition has been launched to recognise and support schools that play a vital role in building stronger, more resilient, and empathetic communities. We want to give them an even stronger voice, through creativity, and empower them.”

Schools can apply online. Applications close on 29 April 2022 at 11.59pm AEST.
