With enhanced feature set.

Alcatel has announced its 2019 line-up of 1-Series smartphones, including the Alcatel 1X and Alcatel 1C, both featuring the TCL-developed FullView display.

The Alcatel 1X (pictured below) has an all-new organic, scratch and slip resistant finish with a 5.5-inch FullView display, real-time bokeh and new capture modes for portrait style photos. The secondary depth-sensing lens allows users to refocus photos and blur the remainder of the picture. A black and blue variant was on display at CES.

In comparison to its predecessor, the display has been improved to 720p, the battery is larger and it is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo. There is also one-handed mode for the camera that allows users to swipe the buttons from right to left, ideal for taking selfies.

The 5-inch FullView display on the Alcatel 1C (pictured below) comes with a non-slip, textured finish, photo capture options such as beautification mode and instant collage. Powered by Android Oreo (Go edition), the handset is optimised for mobile connectivity.

Australian pricing and availability for the Alcatel handsets is yet to be confirmed.
