SYDNEY: Crest Electronics, a leading supplier of sound and vision accessories, declared its recent Bing Lee ‘Complete Attachment Program’ sales promotion a success with 10 retail staff winning a trip to Brisbane for further sales training and go-karting.
Crest’s Bing Lee Complete Attachment Program ran from 1 April 2007 to 30 June 2007 and the program’s objective was to focus the Bing Lee sales team on accessory attachment sales as a key retail profit driver.
Training seminars were held in five different locations for all staff on selling techniques by Crest’s national sales trainer, Craig Carr. For a select range of Crest product, Bing Lee sales staff earned a percentage of the sale price in ‘wish vouchers’.
The best performing sales staff in the top 10 stores each received an invitation this November to Crest’s level 2 training in its Brisbane offices, followed by an afternoon of go-karting.
“The promotion has been claimed a success with sales over 20 per cent on the previous year, not to mention the additional focus and education of the benefits of accessories in maximising sales potential across the whole store,” said Crest Electronics’ marketing director, Dean Wall.
