SYDNEY: Bing Lee will begin the Chinese New Year celebrations by offering customers a bonus 20-piece Chinese crockery set when they spend $100 or more at any Bing Lee store, according to a press release obtained by Current.com.au today.
“Proud of their Chinese heritage, the Lee family are happy to get into the Chinese New Year spirit and provide a small Chinese gift to their valued customers,” said the release.
Bing Lee is a family-owned business operated by the Lee family, and has been a leading electrical retailer since its inception in 1957.
“It has successfully adapted its strong family values to the business,” said the company.
“Bing Lee has an amazing capacity to encompass a world of ethnic cultures and values whilst maintaining its Chinese origins at the centre,” said Bing Lee general manager, Phil Moujaes.
“The family values that stem from China through Bing Lee Chairman Ken Lee remain alive and well in the company – what you see is what you get!”
The promotion will begin on 4 February and will run through until 18 February 2007, or while stocks last, according to the company.
