It was day for the greys at Flemington yesterday, with the eye-catching Dash For Viz (Grey 5g) taking out the TCL 3D TV Plate on Oaks Day.

Not only did a splendid grey win the race, mirroring the overcast conditions, fans of this cult thoroughbred colour were also treated to a strong lead out from fellow grey and half-brother Dashalot.

This is the seventh straight year TCL has used the Melbourne Cup carnival at Flemington to showcase its brand, with local MD Paul Widdis taking the stage after the race to present the plate to the winning connections.

Earlier in the week, 2.3 million Australians watched Dunaden claim a close-run Melbourne Cup in a scintillating photo finish. TCL was featured in signage around the track, as well as hundreds of TV screens at Flemington for the 100,000-plus spectators on the day.
