SYDNEY, NSW: Samsung has released a new portable pico projector, which is described as light, bright and affordable.

The SP-H03 (RRP $399) weighs 210 grams (including a battery), which is apparently lighter than a smartphone. It features a 30-ANSI bulb, which can project onto a screen between 9 and 80 inches (23-203 centimetres). An internal 1GB of memory enables storage of files for later broadcasting, whilst input is supported via MicroSD and USB in ports.

“The pico projector market is rapidly growing as corporations globalise and professionals travel more often than ever,” said Samsung national product and marketing manager, IT, Emmanuele Silanesu.

“The SP-H03 was designed for easy portability, eliminating the hassle and setup issues often encountered by presenters as they travel from organisation to organization.”

“Not only is it great for business people, but users of all kinds can experiment with the technology to share content in new ways. By creating a convenient, portable, powerful and inexpensive projector, Samsung is poised to assert its leadership at the top of this market.

“We’re excited to bring new projector technology options to Australians.”
