Auction website Grays Online is currently auctioning off thousands of Kleenmaid items to customers around the country, but those who already forked over thousands of dollars for their goods will unfortunately have to pay again.

This comes after the organisation collapsed in April owing over $100 million to creditors and was subsequently voted to go into liquidation in May.

The 4,000 goods currently selling on the auction website are allegedly the leftover goods which were being held in warehouses around the country. The sale has been approved by liquidators, Deloitte.

This auction will provide Kleenmaid customers with an opportunity to finally get the goods which they paid for, but with the bittersweet reality of having to pay twice.

Despite the fact that they will have to be even further out of pocket, it is great news for those consumers who have specifically designed their kitchens around Kleenmaid units, and will save them money in the long run due to the fact that it will stop them having to redesign the entire kitchen.

Due to the fact that the items are a part of an auction, consumers may even get a bargain. But the conditions of the Grays Online website state that customers have to add an additional 10 per cent to their purchase price.

Obviously due to the fact that the company is currently in liquidation the items will not come with a warranty and no accessories will be included with the purchase.

Some of the items are for pick up only, in the state specified, but there are also many items which include a nationwide delivery.

The website is recommending customers to contact Edis for any spare parts enquiries.
