VICTORIA: The Good Guys have put in a strong showing in their home state at this year’s Electrical Retailing Award nominations, with three out of the five stores selected as finalists for Best Retail Store in Victoria coming from the group.

Ross Parke’s The Good Guys Geelong, Simon Burgess’s The Good Guys Brighton, and Greg Rako’s The Good Guys Bayswater are all in the running for Victorian Store of the Year at the ERAs, which will be held next Friday night, April 4, in Sydney.

However, these contenders face competition from two other nominees, including defending Victorian champion, Harvey Norman Chadstone, which won the ERA last year, and JB Hi-Fi Maribynong.

The five finalists for the Victorian Store of the Year ERA were judged by a panel of leading suppliers and the winner will go into the running to win the ERA for overall Store of the Year 2008.

The ERAs will be held at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney on Friday 4 April 2008. To book tickets email Ana Melo e Azevedo at ana@intermedia.com.au or phone (02) 9660 2113.
