SYDNEY: Betta Stores Limited (BSL) has lost six stores to Narta member Bi-Rite including three in Sydney to Abdul Sacur, who trades under the Bi-Rite Electrical and HomElectrix brands.

The six stores include three stores located at Fairfield, Merrylands and Liverpool in Sydney as well as Archerfield in Queensland, Hoppers Crossing in Victoria and Broadmeadow in Victoria.

The two Victorian stores are Sacur’s first stores in that state and will both trade under the HomElectrix brands. The remaining four stores will trade under the Bi-Rite Electrical banner.

BSL currently trades under the Buy-Rite brand.

The proprietor of the former unidentified BSL store, Fairfield Discount Appliances, Raad Namo told Current.com.au this morning that the stores have already installed a new computer system for the Bi-Rite Electrical group, even though the departure from the BSL group was effective today.

Betta Stores announced the resignation of the three Sydney stores from the group effective today.

Liverpool Betta Electrical, owned by Hatham Naamo and Loay Naamo and located at 282 Macquarie Street, will now be known as Liverpool Bi-Rite Electrical.

The Fairfield Discount Appliances store, which was trading as an unidentified member of Betta Stores under the Betta Buying Associates group, has also resigned from the group.

The store, located at 81 Ware Street in Fairfield was owned by Raad Namo and Jimmy Ghanim, will now be known as Fairfield Bi-Rite Electrical.

Merrylands Betta Electrical, operated by Hatham Naamo and Najem Naamo and located at 161 Merrylands Road, will now trade as Merrylands Bi-Rite Electrical.

Broadmedows HomElectrix is located at 1185-1197 Pasco Vale Road at Broadmeadows and Hoppers Crossing HomeElectrix is located at Shop 6, 283 Old Geelong Road, Hoppers Crossing.

Bi-Rite Archerfield is located at 901-903 Beaudesert Road, Archerfield.
