Winning Group CEO, John Winning has announced that Winning Appliances achieved its biggest selling month in its 113-year history in March.
Winning commented, “We are delighted that our 113 year old business, Winning Appliances, has just posted its largest selling month. For March, Winning Appliances was 42% up on last year’s sales. The team has done an outstanding job and they should be proud of this historic achievement.
“Appliances Online sales were up 21% and the Group had its biggest hiring month within the past 12 months with 45 new hires.
“Our strong growth is the result of constantly striving to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
“2019 might be turning out to be a challenging year for some retailers, but I am delighted that at Winning Appliances and Appliances Online, we don’t take our foot off the pedal – we are constantly trying to provide an exceptional customer experience and our results are reflective of us going, beyond above and beyond and bucking the trend.
“Many retailers will tell you that they put the customer first, but when push comes to shove and a business decision needs to be made, they don’t. Building a culture of customer obsession is what’s required to achieve customer loyalty and to ultimately have longevity.”
