The new RX-V2065 multi-zone network receiver from Yamaha doesn’t just deliver Full HD 7.2 channel audio, it also acts as a media hub via Windows Media Player 11, can access songs from your iPod, plays 1080p video and streams internet radio.

The RX-V2065 is fully supported to deliver superior sound with HD audio formats from DTS and Dolby Laboratories including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio; Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio.

In addition to this it also up scales analogue video sources at Full HD 1080p resolution, supports Deep Colour to provide 30 and 36-bit colour depths and has a 24Hz refresh rate.

Users can also access the internet via the inbuilt Ethernet port to stream thousands of internet radio stations and if you install Windows Media Player 11, you can access your entire music collection.

The RX-V2065 also features iPod, USB, Network, Bluetooth and HDMI connectivity to cater for a diverse range of users. It is also possible for users to feed 1080p video to two screens simultaneously via the two HDMI ports.

In addition to all these features the new unit also features 3D DSP mode, which activates the front presence speakers, offering a full front stage sound. Yamaha compares this experience to being in a concert hall.

The Yamaha RX-V2065 will be available from October and comes at an RRP of $2,499.
