LG scores big time at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) presents the company with a raft of awards in 11 highly competitive categories. Heading the CES Innovation Awards list for the fifth year in a row is the ultra-premium LG Signature OLED TV. The second generation LG Signature OLED TV will be unveiled at CES 2017.
The LG G5 – the first production modular smartphone – has also scored an award with other accolades for LG washing machines, dishwashers, the InstaView Door-in-Door refrigerator and V20 multimedia smartphone.
The awards are selected annually by a panel of industry designers, engineers and journalists with submissions judged on a variety of criteria spanning user value, aesthetics, innovative design, quality and contributions to quality of life.
The full list of awards will be announced at CES on 4 January 2017 and the award-winning products will be exhibited at CES 2017 in Las Vegas, from January 5-8. It marks the 50th anniversary of the world’s largest technology trade show which LG and its Zenith subsidiary have been part of since the event was founded in 1967.
