MELTON, Vic: The Gonera Retravision store in Melton, Victoria, has been placed under the administration of accounting firm Grant Thornton and is currently being advertised as up for sale.

The administrator has published an advertisement in today’s Australian Financial Review stating that the store is being sold as a going concern with the sale including plant and equipment, fixtures and fittings, motor vehicles, stock and premises lease.

Store owner, Peter Gonera, confirmed to current.com.au today that there had been a number of bidders expressing interest in purchasing the store, but no buyer has emerged.

Gonera is selling the business due to health concerns which he says are starting to impair his ability to work and said he would happily stay on with the business in a part-time capacity if the new owner agreed.

Gonera Retravision belongs to the Retravision Southern buying group, and is located in the town of Melton west of Melbourne.
